Privacy Policy

SIMSON SOFTWARES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") operates the SARBOnline website and service. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are certified to ISO 27701 for privacy information management.

What we collect

  1. Enquiries and demo requestsName, company, work email, phone, country, role and the message you send us through the contact form or by email.
  2. Service accountsWhen your organisation subscribes to SARBOnline, user names, work email addresses, roles and login activity needed to provide and secure the service.
  3. Website usageStandard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers.
  4. Country detection on the demo formTo pre-select your country and dialling code, the form reads your browser's time zone. Only if that gives no answer does it ask a geolocation service (ipapi.co) which country your network address is in. Only the country code is used; it is not stored unless you submit the form, and you can change the selection.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are read and how often the demo form is used. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner; until then, and if you decline, Google receives only cookieless measurements without identifiers. We do not use advertising cookies, and IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The site also stores your theme choice and cookie choice in your browser's local storage; these never leave your device.

How we use it

  3. To protect the serviceDetecting and preventing misuse, and meeting our security obligations.
  4. With your consentOccasional product updates, which you can opt out of at any time.

Customer data in SARBOnline

Data your organisation enters into SARBOnline (parties, slips, statements, accounts) is processed on your instructions as a data processor. It is held in the region and deployment you choose, encrypted at rest and in transit, and is never used for any purpose other than providing the service to you. See Security & compliance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and service (hosting, email delivery), under contracts that restrict their use of it, and where the law requires.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months after our last contact. Service account data is kept for the life of the subscription and deleted or returned at its end, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a use of it. Write to simson@simsononline.com. We respond within 30 days.
