What is SARBOnline?
SARBOnline is reinsurance broking software by Simson Softwares. It covers treaty and facultative placement, slips, closings, credit control, compliance and multi-currency accounting in one system.
Who is SARBOnline for?
Reinsurance brokers, MGAs and managing agents, binders and coverholders, insurance companies managing outward reinsurance, and reinsurers through the SARB-Re edition.
Where is SARBOnline available?
Worldwide. Clients are in 32 countries across India, the Middle East including the DIFC, Africa, Asia, Latin America and beyond.
Is SARBOnline cloud or on-premise?
Both. It runs in the browser and can be hosted by Simson or deployed on your own servers for data residency.
What security certifications does SARBOnline hold?
Simson is ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certified by TÜV SÜD South Asia. SARBOnline is built to the OWASP Top 10, is SOC 2 Type II ready, and is scanned every quarter with IBM AppScan and Burp Suite.
Does SARBOnline support single sign-on?
Yes. Microsoft Entra ID (MSAL) and Okta are supported.
Which currencies are supported?
USD, GBP, EUR, INR, AED and more than 30 other currencies, with reporting in original and base currency.
Can we use our own slip templates?
Yes. SARBOnline is integrated with Microsoft Word and Collabora Online. Broker, quotation and placing slips, cover notes, endorsement slips and addendum cover notes come from pre-defined templates for each class, sub-class and market.
Can we import data from Excel?
Yes. Bordereaux, receipts, sliding scales, sum insured breakups and insureds can be imported from Excel templates, and every report can be exported.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on your lines of business, offices and data migration. We agree a plan after a scoping workshop; contact us for an estimate.
